In addition to our Cub Scout Den curriculum, we live the scouting spirit together as a Pack with several adventures and traditions each year.
Twice a year, we camp with multiple Packs at two of North Carolina's private BSA campgrounds, for a weekend of outdoor activities (BB guns, sling shots, Gaga ball, and more)
We organize service opportunities, such as participating in Operation Sandwich. For the last two years our Pack constructed and donated over 850 sandwiches in a single 90 minute session, to help those in our community!
Classic scouting experience... They build 'em, they race 'em. Parents will be happy to hear that the biggest trophy goes to "best sportsmanship"
Our Pack organizes a "supertrip" each year: an overnight camping weekend with high adventure. In previous years we've stayed overnight at the USS Yorktown (shown here), biked on the Virginia Creeper Trail, and with the fishes at the Georgia Aquarium.
The "Blue and Gold Banquet". Our annual, end of year event. We have a meal together, celebrate the year, and award each child with their well-earned badge at level.
